The Beachcomber

The Beachcomber is an operating "Condominium - Hotel". All units are individually owned. As such they are occasionally available for purchase.

As a Friend of the Beachcomber, we would like to offer you an opportunity to own a piece of the Beachcomber in Avalon-Stone Harbor “Forever.” Condominiums are now available directly from owners starting below $200,000 for Efficiency Units, in the mid $200,000’s to $300,000 for One Bedroom Units. Two Bedroom units are also available on a very limited basis.

By purchasing a Condominium at the Beachcomber, you will guarantee yourself an Avalon/ Stone Harbor vacation every summer “Forever”. In addition property prices in Avalon/Stone Harbor are at early 2000’s price levels now coupled with historically low mortgage rates makes this the time to BUY in Avalon/Stone Harbor NJ.

Our  Amenities Include:

Owner Managed “Optional” Rental Organization which maximizes owners net rental income as we rent daily, multi-day and weekly to the public with full services including daily maid and linen services etc. This gives our owners high seasonal rent income at the lowest possible cost.

Experienced Management, Owner Board of Directors and Staff skilled at  running and managing a 54 unit condominium and rental organization successfully. This is critical to absentee investor owner confidence and satisfaction. The Beachcomber excels in this area and has for many years.

Location across the street from the Avalon beach-at mid island; near where Avalon and Stone Harbor meet. The Beachcomber is walking distance to many restaurants, bars, shops, tennis courts, basketball courts, playground and fields.

Our private secluded heated garden pool area is considered the best of its type on the Island. It includes gas grills and umbrella tables for picnicking as well as a baby pool area.

Please note that since we are an operating hotel, the comfort of our guests is most important. Because of this, careful scheduling of showings to prospective buyers is required. The best way to see a unit and experience the Beachcomber is to stay there for a few nights.  If you are interested in purchasing a unit, ask the reservation desk if any "for sale" units are available for rent. We may be able to accommodate you.

Also note that a few units at the The Beachcomber are "Time Shares" and as such are registered with RCI Resorts Condominium International, as a Vacation Club Interval Ownership Property. Please see the RCI affiliation page for more information on this.
